SmartGrade is intended exclusively for teachers and administrators of educational centers. It is not aimed at minors or students.

When using SmartGrade, we collect the following personal data:

• Teacher's first and last name

• Email address

• Educational center to which they belong

• Profile image (optional)

• Exams uploaded by the user

• Evaluation rubrics

In some cases, teachers may upload real names, pseudonyms, or numerical identifiers of students. This information is completely optional and does not affect the functioning of the tool.

We also automatically collect certain browsing data through cookies and similar technologies (such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel), including:

• IP Address

• Browser and device

• Pages visited and browsing time

• Interaction data

4. Purpose of Data Processing

We collect your data for the following purposes:

• To provide the service as offered

• To analyze exams using artificial intelligence

• To improve the quality and usability of the platform

• To manage the user's account

• To comply with our legal obligations

The use of AI involves the automatic analysis of the uploaded exams, which are compared with the rubrics created or selected by the user to offer detailed feedback. At no time are these exams associated with personal data of the student beyond what the teacher has voluntarily entered.

5. Legal Basis for Data Processing

The legal basis for processing the data is the user's consent upon registering and using the platform, as well as the necessity to perform the contracted services.

According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Rectify them if they are inaccurate or incomplete

7. Data Retention

We will retain your data as long as you keep your account active. In case of inactivity, the data will be deleted after two years or sooner if you request manual deletion.

8. Recipients and Data Transfer

We do not sell your data to third parties. We only share information with:

• Google Cloud (storage and server provider)

• Artificial intelligence providers, exclusively for the correction of exams. They do not have access to names or identifying data of students or teachers.

The servers are located in the European Union and guarantee compliance with European data protection regulations.

9. Security

SmartGrade applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data:

• Encrypted storage on secure servers in the EU

• Restricted access to authorized personnel

• Use of HTTPS in all communications
